On February 20, 2005 I went to my 3 live WWE event, and again this one was in Pittsburgh PA at the Mellon arena. My mother,
our friend(who always drives us to the events,) and I left around 4:30 for the event that started around 7pm. We leave this
early because when we go to the Pizza Pub we take too long to eat. However, we have a great time. Since this was on a Sunday
NASCAR was on, and it just happened to be the first, and biggest, race of the season, the Daytona 500. The Pizza Pub is also
a sports bar so it was great to be able to see all but the last 50 laps of the race there. Once we got to the arena we saw
some TVs through the window with the replays of the race on and we got to see the winner. Once we got to the arena it was
very cold and we walked around to try to keep warm then we saw about 20 people huddled up at one side of the building (this
was not around any of the openings) we soon found out that there was very warm air coming out of the building at this spot
and it was nice to finally be warm again. I had told my mom that they normally tape Sunday Night Heat in front of the arenas
on ppvs and I was right this time. I walked around and found the set up for it and tried to get on TV. However, they were
just doing a test when I got there and when Ivory came off the stage I was extremely close to her, about 2 or 3 feet away,
and tried to get her auto graph, just like everyone else. However, there was a WWE official behind me and he grabbed me and
pulled me out of the way so she could get through he did not even ask first. I was upset about it later, but at first, I
was like" oh my god a WWE official just touched me!!!" Later we went to the gate closest to our seats and stood
there. We all found other people to talk to, our friend was talking to an older guy about old school wrestling, during the
time of the WWWF with Vince Sr. My mother was talking to the friend of the guy I was talking to and they were talking about
other things. The guy I met was a great guy and I am sorry to say that I do not remember his name, but I had a great time
talking to him. He was a fan of the ECW wrestling and had not been keeping up with the WWE lately but had won tickets on
the radio. I told him all about what was going on since he lost track then we talked about ECW. We were standing outside
for a good two hours talking before they opened the doors. Since it was February and we are up North, it was cold and rainy.
So by the time we got inside our hair was frozen and we were extremely cold. However, one of the reasons we were outside
so long was that there were a group of guys in the front throwing themselves up against the doors begging to get in and the
security guards kept our set of doors closed another 20 minuets. When we got inside it was nice to have Booker T come out,
his pyros are unbelievably hot and felt good on this night. The matches were so great at this ppv, lately WWE has been putting
on poor SmackDown shows and pitiful ppvs. So when I found out that this was going to be a SmackDown ppv I decided that it
was worth the price to just be there to see the Undertaker live, even if the rest of the show was bad. I am a huge fan of
the Undertaker and the one thing I still wanted to see was him in the dark personification. I could not have been more happy
with the night, it was a great different feeling when he came out, however when the light things at the entrance went off
it shocked me a nit, even though I saw them being put there. But the most amazing thing of the night was his whole entrance,
it was like some blanket came over the arena. I can't even seem to explain it right. The last cage match was also done very
well. I was not expecting to see JBL put thrown the ring and it was great live. I thought the whole night came over great.
I am looking forward to WWE coming back to Pittsburgh this year!!!
